Human Transcription factor Sp7 (SP7) ELISA Kit KB-E3752H

Regulatory Status:RUO

Alternative:OSX;Sp7 Transcription Factor; Specificity Protein 7; Zinc finger protein osterix

SP7

Transcription factor Sp7, also called Osterix (Osx), is a protein that is encoded by the SP7 gene. It is a member of the Sp family of zinc-finger transcription factors It is highly conserved among bone-forming vertebrate species It plays a major role, along with Runx2 and Dlx5 in driving the differentiation of mesenchymal precursor cells into osteoblasts and eventually osteocytes.[8] Sp7 also plays a regulatory role by inhibiting chondrocyte differentiation maintaining the balance between differentiation of mesenchymal precursor cells into ossified bone or cartilage.

Typical data

As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.

Repeatability

Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%

Recovery

The recovery of Human SP7 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human SP7 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
